This is supposed to be peak training time. I can't seem to hit my weekday workouts. I just don't want to do it. It could be stress. Normally, my workouts help me relieve that, but instead, I've lacked training motivation. I gave my bike to the shop to clean on Monday. Since I was so burnt out by the C-man ride, I told them to keep it until right before my scheduled 100 mile bike ride. I'm missing all the bike training now.
Last Sat I did bike 50 miles and ran 12 easy miles. I swam 2 miles in the pool Sunday.
This week, I just can't seem to get motivated. I'm working so hard during the day that I feel drained as the day wraps up. I can't seem to get up early to train either. I need to get my act together. I'm not even "fatigued" from working out like a typical ironman in training. No, in my case, I'm just being lazy and letting day to day stress get in the way of my training goals. Bad.
On a more positive note, at least my last minute- "I'm not working out tonight" phone calls this week have led me to catch up with some of my non training friends.
