Yesterday was... Awesome!
1. 1 hour of my yoga DVD
2. Biked 45 minutes on the indoor trainer
3. Aqua jogged for the first time since I was injured for 30 minutes in the sunny outdoor pool
Aqua jogging outside instead of in the lap pool may have looked silly as I "ran" in place treading water with a floatation belt, dodging the teenagers and the cannon-ballers. However, the adrenaline rush was so worth it!
After that, it was time to celebrate, so I drove out for a late afternoon barbecue with my 1/2 IM and IM TG training friends!
Today, my both legs are sore...due to weeks upon weeks of virtually no activity.
I hope I can stay on the recovery path and get rid of this scar tissue fast!
